Abby's Buddies Childcare ABC (Abby's Buddies Childcare) is a Michigan State-licensed, home daycare located in Three Oaks. There are currently openings for full day, partial day and before/after school care. Call Lisa (Schlundt) Henrich at 269-756-3272 for further information or to register.

SENIORS: Senior pictures and baby pictures are due to Rachael Knoll by Tuesday, December 15, 2009. If you haven't had senior pictures taken yet, many options are available: Harrington Photography in Three Oaks, BorterWagner Photography in New Buffalo, Prestige in Niles, JCPenney, Target, Sears, etc. Find one that suits your price range and have your picture taken. If you miss the Dec. 15 deadline, your school photo will be used.
Hunting Education Course: Learn to hunt the right way. The PSAT Test will be offered on Wednesday, October 14th. This timed test contains two critical reading sections, two mathematics sections and one writing skills section. The cost is $13.00 and you must register in the Guidance Office by October 7th if you are interested. You do not have to take this test, but it is good practice for the ACT. The test will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until approximately 11:00 a.m.
Homecoming Dance is scheduled for October 23rd. Yes we are having a dance contrary to popular belief. Remember that all dance rules apply and you must dress appropriately. If you would like to invite a guest to the dance you must sign-up in the office and fill out the proper paperwork to receive approval from Mr. Hart. See Mrs. Wysocki for details.
Twilight Party The New Buffalo Library is going to have a Twilight party for teens to celebrate Teen Read Week. The party will be downstairs @ the library, October 24th at 6:30 p.m. We will have door prizes, the grand prize is 2 tickets to the midnight premier of New Moon. They will need to sign up by either calling the library or stopping by the circulation desk.
College Applications Seniors: now is the time to be applying to colleges. If you need an application, see Ms. Price. Completed applications can be turned in to Mrs. Coffman.
Graduation Committee: we will be meeting with National Recognition Products on Friday, Oct. 9th at 3:10 in my room to view their graduation announcements and other products. Please come and compare these items with Jostens before we make our final decision on Oct. 15th.
Mr./Miss. New Buffalo 2010 There will be a representative here to meet with students during lunch on October 7th and October 21st to hand out information regarding Mr. and Miss. New Buffalo.
STUDENTS: spot checks on computers will be done at random. If you have anything on your computer that is not school related it should be deleted. Many emails are forwarded directly to Mr. Hart and he is able to read personal information. If you don't want him to know your personal information you should not be emailing it from your laptops.

I've never done a sale like this, and I would love for local kids to take advantage of it so they can get some great images. Soccer Team Congratulations to the Boys Varsity soccer team on beating New Prairie (IN) last night 6-0. Highlights from yesterdays game: Madison Mashburn 4 assists, Kyle Bartos 2 goals, Ryan Piner 1 goal 1 assist, Chris Rush 1 goal 1 assist, Jon Gibson 1 goal and Micah Harris put the last goal in with an incredible 18 foot header!!! The team is 11-4 and plays Lalumiere thursday.

Marching Band Congrats to the marching band for earning a Division 1 rating at MSBOA festival. Great work!
Hope College A representative from Hope College will be here on Tuesday, October 13th. Interested Juniors and Seniors may sign up in the notebook on the table outside the office.

Project Close-Up there will be a short (10 min.) meeting after school Mon. 10/12 in Mrs. Keller's rm (hs 218) for 10th -12th grader's interested in attending Project Close Up in Washington D.C. in the Spring of 2010.
